We welcome all families to join in the fun of summer at the Wiggin Memorial Library. The 2013 theme is "Dig Into Reading." Activities will be offered for kids (toddlers through 5th-Grade) from late June to mid-August. Our exciting kickoff, The Norman Family Magic Show with magician/comedian/entertainer Norman Ng, will be held on Wednesday, June 26, at 7:00 p.m. This family event for all ages is free and open to the public with no registration required. REGISTRATION: In-person registration for the reading log portion of the Summer Reading Program will take place in the Youth Activity Room from June 10 through June 26. Reading logs and detailed calendars listing summer activities for babies through children going into 5th-Grade will be available at that time. Online registration is required for all summer programs except the kickoff on June 26 and Baby Lapsit. PLEASE NOTE: Elementary programming=Children going into Kindergarten through going into 5th-Grade.
SUMMER SERVICE PROJECT -- "Dig Into Feeding": When families bring in food pantry donations with completed reading logs, each child will receive 3 drawing prize slips instead of 1. Food Pantry wish lists will be included in registration packets.
"DIG INTO READING" TOTE BAGS: These sturdy bags will be available for $5 each during registration in the Youth Activity Room. All proceeds will go towards summer programming.
